Have you ever considered the absolute beauty of all creation? The universe, stars, the earth, mountains, forests, and oceans; the millions of species of animals, birds, and insects; the absolute complexity and symmetry of the human body, the mind, DNA, a child's conception, growth, development, and birth? What about human emotion, our capacity for music and art, our desire to wonder about why we are here and what is the purpose of life? What a brilliant, creative, and loving heavenly Father we have. Any beauty in my artwork is but a mere shadow of the perfection of God's creation.

This portion of my website is not intended to preach at you, but rather to share what I have experienced and learned about the one who has created and loves you and me - the ultimate and most creative ARTIST ever - God.

God has been real in my life many times. Though not audibly talking to me, there have been times when I know he has spoken to my spirit. He has intervened in my life and answered prayers that are too specific to be coincidental. He has spoken to me through his word - the Bible - when I have asked him specific things about my life and career. He has blessed me with a wonderful family, friends, and a beautiful wife. He has comforted me and helped me get through hard times. He has guided my decisions and I have found peace, contentment, and joy through a relationship with him.

Would you like to have a relationship with God? A relationship with the author and creator of life; a relationship with a God who will never leave or abondon you; a relationship with a God who loves you and can help guide you along your path through life?

Are you wondering, how does all this work, this knowing God and having a relationship with him? It's SIMPLE. The key to a relationship with God is Jesus Christ.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father but through me." - John 14;6

God created you and me to have a relationship with us. But sin drives us apart from God. We all sin, you and I, and the penalty for sin is death. But God loves us and understands us so much that he knew we would sin and he gave us a way out. God loved us enough to humble himself to become a human, Jesus Christ, to be born on this earth and live as we live. He went through everything we go through - love, joy, pain, betrayal, loss, humility, trials, temptations, and even death. Throughout his time on this earth Jesus lived a sinless, perfect life, so that with his death (crucifiction) he didn't pay his own penalty for sin...he paid my penalty for sin...and he paid your penalty for sin. He died for our sins, but on the third day after his death, he rose back to life...proving God's power over death. Through our belief in Jesus Christ we can let Jesus pay the death penalty of our sins and we can have eternal life with God in heaven and a relationship with him, NOW while we live on this earth.

..."For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him, shall not parish but have EVERLASTING life." John 3:16

That's it, put your faith, hope, and trust into Jesus Christ, confess that you have disobeyed God and you are choosing to live life God's way instead of your own way. Believe that Jesus died for you, and rose again and allow him to pay your penalty for sin. It's the best and most important decision you will ever make, not only for your life now, but for all eternity. Then get to know God and spend time with him through prayer (talking to him like you talk to anyone) and studying the Bible. Build a relationship with God who loves you and cares for you.

"Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go, and he's the one who will keep you on track." - Proverbs 3; 5-6

If you would like to learn more about this, I encourage you to get a Bible and read the book of John to begin with. John was a close friend and follower of Jesus while he lived here on earth. The book of John is toward the back of the Bible and talks about Jesus' life. Don't have a Bible? - I will send you one as a gift. Fill out the contact form and indicate you'd like a Bible at the bottom of the form. Other books which have helped me and may help you learn more about God and the Bible include:

"The purpose Driven Life", by Rick Warren is helpful in teaching about the meaning of life from a Biblical view.

"Letters From a Skeptic", by Gregory A. Boyd is excellent if you have doubts about God, Jesus Christ, and the reliability of the Bible.

"The Case for Christ", by Lee Strobel is a great book explaining the history, accuracy, and trustworthyness of the Bible.

It is my sincere prayer that you would begin a relationship with God and allow him to work in your life as he has in mine.

Sincerely, Dale
